What is diatomaceous earth? It is the fossilized remains of microscopic diatoms, one-celled algae, found in fresh and salt water. It is a non-toxic organic alternative for pest control.
How does DE work? It works physically, not chemically. Pests and parasites can't build an immunity to it. It looks like an old fashion hair curler, a cylinder covered with multiple sharp edges. The points pierce the insect's outer shell causing dehydration.
Why doesn't it dehydrate people and pets? DE points are too small to pierce the skin of pets and people. Healthy humans or pets should have not problems or reactions. All of our DE products are human tested.
